Bishop's Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activites exists to make parishioners more aware of pro-life issues, and to recruit volunteers to help meet those needs. This parish-based program relies on the diocesan and state pro-life offices for information and guidance. Its objectives are to coordinate parish implementation for the Respect Life Programs, promote and assist crisis pregnancy agencies, post-abortion counseling, and to foster public awareness of the need for a constitutional amendment and other laws and policies to restore legal protection to the unborn
