Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Admissions

For new, Kindergarten-8th Grade Families:

    • At this meeting you'll tour the school and learn about uniforms, school lunches, and more. This is a good time to talk about tuition and scholarships with our principal too.
  2. Register your student(s) via Powerschool:
    K-8 New Student Enrollment
  3. Set up your FACTs account to pay tuition.
For returning, Kindergarten-8th Grade Families:

Admissions Guidelines

Pre-Kindergarten/Pre-School
  • Kindergarten – 5 Years Old Before July 31
  • Pre-Kindergarten – 4 Years Old Before July 31
  • Pre-School – 3 Years Old Before July 31 and Potty Trained
Grades K-8th
  • Cathedral School follows Nebraska State Law, which states that children must be five years of age before July 31 to enter Kindergarten. Cathedral does not accept "early entries" to Kindergarten.
  • All potential students who are transferring to Cathedral from another school will have an interview and their transcripts reviewed by the Principal prior to acceptance.
  • All applications for students from another Catholic Parish must be accompanied by a Parish Verification Form signed by the relevant Pastor to receive in-parish tuition.
  • When admitted, the following information is necessary for the student’s file:
    • Baptismal Certificate
    • Birth Certificate
    • Transcript Release Form
    • Current Physical Examination
    • Medical Form
    • Online PowerSchool Enrollment Verification
