Academic Clubs
- Page One Reading is a Lincoln Diocesan Catholic Literary Program dedicated to providing students with rich literature, invigorating activities, and an environment that encourages reading for enjoyment. Participants are invited to read the books on the Book List throughout the summer and school year. For more information on this program, visit the Page One website.
- Cathedral First Lego League provides hands-on experience to 5th-8th graders with an interest in robotics and engineering. Members work in teams creating engineering designs with Legos to complete challenges. First Lego League meets after school.
- MATHCOUNTS is a program for students in 6th-8th grade in which math skills are utilized to solve problems under the guidance of a coach and instructors. Students are engaged in fun and challenging math work that is catered to their level. All are welcome to take part. The top Mathletes then compete against area schools.
- National Junior Honor Society - The Cathedral of the Risen Christ School is proud to be the only school in Lincoln to sponsor a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). Membership in NJHS celebrates the ideals of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. It is intended to represent the pinnacle of achievement at Cathedral and in the community. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 of higher during their junior high years (6th-8th grade) will be invited to apply for NJHS each January.
- Nature Club is for students in Kindergarten-3rd grade. More information coming soon for 2024-25!
Activity Clubs
- American Heritage Girls - Are you looking for an organization that helps instill in your daughters the values of their faith and service to others? American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christ-centered character development ministry for girls ages 5-18. Girls in an AHG troop are encouraged to become servant leaders through participating in service projects for the church and community, accomplish badge work that emphasizes life skills and take part in fun team-building outdoor adventures such as archery, hiking, and camping.
Cathedral of the Risen Christ has formed a new troop,AHGTroop2017. Come be a part of AHG's Mission to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. Our troop has openings in all grades. We have 30+ members right now K-9th and are continuing to grow! Our meetings will be held on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of every month in the Cathedral of the Risen Christ School. If you have any other questions, please contact Robyn Maly for more information.(Contact information coming soon for 2024-25). - Boy Scouts - Boy Scout Troop 54 is composed of boys 10 ½ -18 years old led by the boys with adult supervision. The purpose of the Boy Scouts is to introduce young men to the role of leadership, to instill good moral values, above-reproach character, and sense of duty to God, country, and self through fun with teaching skills and exciting outdoor activities. Meetings are held on Thursdays at 7:30pm in Rectors Hall. Visitors are welcome at anytime. Contact Paul Woita at 402-488-169.
- Cub Scouts - Cub Scouts Pack 54 is for boys in grades 1 through 5. Parents and leaders work together to help boys achieve: character development, spiritual growth, good citizenship, sportsmanship and fitness, family understanding, respectful relationships to self and others, personal achievement, friendly service, fun and adventure, and is a good preparation for Boy Scouts. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in Rectors Hall. Contact Dave Brady at 402-261-8183.
Faith Clubs
- Advocates of St. Angela Merici - Consisting of 7th and 8th grade girls at Cathedral, the Advocates are a prayer and service group.
- Soldiers of St. Sebastian - Consisting of 7th and 8th grade boys at Cathedral, the Soldiers serve at Cathedral School’s daily Masses. The group also plays a prominent role in First Friday Benediction, Stations of the Cross, and parish liturgies such as funerals.
