What is the Dignity Pledge?
In the Catholic worldview, everyone, by nature of their creation by God and eternal destiny, has inherent dignity and must be treated with love and respect.  At the heart of the Dignity Pledge within Cathedral of the Risen Christ Catholic School, is the core belief that every individual should be treated with dignity and respect.

The Dignity Pledge:

Be Respectful
Be Positive
Be Honest
Be Grateful
Be Patient
Be Responsible
Be Saintly
Recognize the Dignity of All Humans
See Christ in Others
Be Like Christ to Others

Catholic education “aims at forming in the Christian those particular virtues which will enable him to live a new life in Christ and help him to play faithfully his part in building up the Kingdom of God”.  Congregation for Catholic Education, The Catholic School (1977)
