Volunteer Opportunities

Care for Creation
In honor of the Year of St. Francis, we will be taking some time on Thursday, September 17 to work on planting 7 trees we received from a grant as well as additional plants in Mercer's Meadow and the Prayer Garden at the Cathedral. We would love parents to join us and bring shovels and rakes to help. If you are a carpenter, we have some need for the exploration table in Mercer's Meadow to be reinforced.

Assistance at Volleyball Games
We would love some assistance at our home volleyball games. High school students who need volunteer hours are welcome to sign up. Sign Up Here

Lunch and Recess Duty
We would appreciate parents' assistance with recess and lunch, especially with the younger grades. Click on this link to sign up. Parents should be SAFE Environment trained per the Diocese of Lincoln's policies. Information can be found here.

Crossing Guard
We need assistance for our morning crossing guard position to help students cross Sheridan in the morning. Please reach out to the office if you are available on occasion.

Important Updates

Volleyball Team- Congrats to our 7th and 8th grade teams on their first games. Our girls played hard and the 8th grade team won their first game.

Dismissal Procedure- Thanks to everyone for your patience and feedback on the dismissal plan. Please continue to share your feedback.

Preschool Para- We are looking for a part-time paraprofessional to assist in our morning preschool classroom on M,W,F from 7:40 am to 11:40 am.

NFL Season- The Giants play against the Cowboys this weekend, the outcome of that game could determine Dr. Whelan's excitement on Monday morning. If the Giants lose, please don't ask the score on Monday morning as it can lead to a long diatribe. If the Giants win, feel free to congratulate her as she tends to feel like she had a part in their success.
